How long will I be in braces?

This is what all patients want to know! The amount of time you are in braces really depends on the following:

What needs to be corrected – Each patient presents with a unique set of problems. Your treatment depends largely on how severe your bite is and how well you respond to treatment. Treatment times can also vary depending on how quickly your body responds to treatment and based on your cooperation throughout treatment.

YOU! – You are the most important factor in getting your braces off on time so you can begin showing the life-changing smile you deserve! Your cooperation with the orthodontic appliances we give you plays a key role in how long it takes to complete treatment!

Let’s face it. With school, sports, dating and hanging out with friends, getting metal braces probably isn’t at the top of your list of things you want to do. Well, we have great news for you. Now, you can straighten your smile without anyone even knowing with Invisalign Teen®! With no metal brackets and wires, you’re free to enjoy the things that make these the best times of your life. The Invisalign Teen® aligners are made of smooth, clear plastic. You simply pop a new set of aligners in every few weeks to gradually shift your teeth into place.

I wish I could give 1000 stars!! I had an appointment with my doctor that was rescheduled at the last minute (not by my choice) which caused a conflicting appointment time. Brett’s team literally bent over backwards to get me into my appointment to remove my braces early so I could make it to my doctors appointment. And to top it off, I mentioned during small talk that I was driving nine hours tonight so the woman working on my teeth literally stopped what she was doing, pulled up the schedule and asked if I’d like to come in at 2pm instead of 4pm!
